Sovil is an Italian company that has been working for 50 years to illuminate every space, producing lamps capable of giving shape to light and making it an integral part of landscapes, gardens, and architecture. The company’s history began in 1974 with the importation of glass from Czechoslovakia to create outdoor and indoor lamps. The business grew steadily, and in 1978, it opened a new plant, moving from Viterbo to Soriano nel Cimino. In 1979, a new company, Vitervetro, was established, specializing in plastic molding to build increasingly cutting-edge lighting products. Initiative, dedication, and technology advanced constantly, and in 1996, the company moved production abroad, merging Sovil and Vitervetro into a single entity, Sovil srl, projected towards an ever-wider and more competitive market. The early 2000s saw the first generational transition: first Vincenzo Paganini and later his son Pierpaolo continued to refine their craft, focusing on careful and conscious production based on artisanal wisdom and high-level experience. The family passion grows, further elevating the quality of the products to create functional design pieces made with high-quality materials.
